Next, a pov shot of her looking at herself in the mirror, seeing her blank mouthless snout for the first time. She examines it with a hoof, the hoof also visible in first person to the side of the panel. She looks sad about the whole thing. Narration follows: "The following days were the hardest. It took me a week to even be able to get myself to leave my apartment.". Next, she's seen sitting down in a doctor's office, the dotor holding up an xray of her skull and hooves, showing the permanence of her changes. She's wearing a dark hoodie and pants, one of her footpaws brushing against the other nervously, the tip of her tail swinging back and forth. She's wearing a face mask to conceal her lack of a mouth. "It wasn't until I saw a doctor that I fully understood the extent of the changes.. How permanent all of this was." On the next panel, she's seen in a short sleeve top, sitting at her desk, trying to type on a keyboard, all nervous about it. "Eventually, 1 accepted that there was no going back, and started learning to live with my new anatomy. It was... difficult."
